I am a certified Auditory Verbal Therapist and have provided therapy and trained professionals in this approach for over 15 years.
Auditory Verbal Therapy is an evidence-based approach in which parents are coached to use strategies in everyday life that enhance their deaf child's listening and enable them to learn to speak through listening.
Auditory Verbal Therapy can be delivered in person or online.

With two decades of dedicated service across the NHS, charitable organizations, and private practice, I have held two significant clinical lead positions. Since relocating from South Africa in 2006 after graduating from Wits University, I have spent my career in the UK refining my expertise and pursuing professional excellence.
About Frances
I am a London-based Auditory Verbal Therapist and Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist.
I have over 20 years of experience with young children and their parents, developing listening, comprehension, expressive language, speech sounds, play, executive functioning, and social interaction.
I believe that parents are the experts on their children; through play and meaningful activities, we can work together to facilitate your child's development.
I have trained and mentored professionals across the world. I have also represented families in SEND tribunals for school placements or EOTAS and have additional medico-legal training.
In addition to my therapy practice, I am a qualified Executive and ADHD Coach. I work with teenagers and adults online toward individualized targets that optimize everyday life.
One of the most challenging and rewarding roles I have is being a mother.
I am passionate about supporting parents and understanding their own needs and strengths within the therapy process.
